One of the most successful lyricists of the last 40 years, Don Black, talks to Tommy Pearson about his extraordinary career. In Part 1, Black talks about how he started, his early work with Matt Monroe and working with John Barry on 3 Bond songs - Thunderball, Diamonds Are Forever and Man with the Golden Gun - as well as with David Arnold. He also talks about winning his Oscar for Born Free, one of the most-played songs in history.
